
Saudi Olympics team held to Jordan in Malaysia camp

The Saudi Arabia u-23 national team, held to a 1-1 draw with Jordan, on Friday, at Shah Alam Stadium, in the first friendly game, within Malaysia preparatory camp, which comes within the fourth and last phase of preparations, for 2020 AFC U-23 Championship, Thailand, which will determine the qualified teams to the 2020 Summer Olympics men's football tournament, in Tokyo 2020.
The Saudi team broke the deadlock via Hussien Al-Essa in the 9th minute, before Jordan netted the equalizer, four minutes before the end of the first half.
Saudi team manager, Saad Al-Shehri entered the game with the following XI: Amine Boukari (goalkeeper), Saud Abdelhamid, Abdelbasit Hendy, Abdel Elah Al-Emri, Khalid Al-Dabesh, Yossif Al-Harbi, Hussien Al-Essa, Sami Al-Nagiea, Saad Al-Saloli, Mouktar Ali and Haroune Kamara.
It must be mentioned that, the draw of the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship, put KSA in Group B, alongside: Japan, Syria and Qatar, as the qualifiers will start next January, in Thailand.
