His Highness the Crown Prince welcomes the players of the Saudi national team and members of the technical and administrative staffs

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, welcomed, at his office in Jeddah, today, the players of the first Saudi national football team and members of the technical and administrative staff who are preparing to compete in the 2022 World Cup to be held in Qatar next November, in the presence of His His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, and President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehal.
His Highness the Crown Prince congratulated everyone for qualifying for the World Cup, noting the continuous role and effort exerted to ensure qualification; as this has become a necessity for us as Saudis and as a Saudi national team.
His Highness the Crown Prince, in his speech to the players, called on the players to enjoy these three matches and to play the group matches without psychological pressure that could affect their normal performance, pointing to the difficulty of the group in the World Cup, and that the team is not expected to achieve great results, but the invitations are with them, and everyone is following up first.
While His Highness the Minister of Sports thanked His Highness the Crown Prince for the continuous support, noting the players’ performance during the qualifiers, as they were as responsible, hoping that they would complete this journey in representing the national team in the World Cup, pointing to the players’ keenness to provide the best effort worthy of the Kingdom’s name.
