Al Misehal meets Sheikh Salman Al Khalifa AFC President in Kuala Lumpur

Today, Thursday, the President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehal, met the President of the Asian Football Confederation and the First Vice-President of the International Football Association, Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Asian Football Confederation Dato’ Windsor, and the Secretary-General of the SAFF Ibrahim Al-Kassim.

During the meeting, the AFC President congratulated the President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation for the continuous achievements of Saudi football, expressing his wishes for the Saudi national team to succeed during its participation in the World Cup "Qatar 2022".

Sheikh Salman stressed the importance of the strong relations between the AFC and the SAFF, welcoming the commitment of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation towards the spirit of unity and solidarity that underpins the AFC in dealing with all national and regional federations.

For his part, the President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehel, expressed his deep appreciation for the initiatives of the AFC and the programs of assistance to national and regional federations, praising the great role of Sheikh Salman in interacting with member federations through a vision based on reaching Asian football at the highest levels.
