The national team draws with Honduras in the third friendly match in preparation for the World Cup

The national team drew with Honduras (0-0) in an international friendly match on Sunday evening at Al Nahyan Stadium, as part of the third phase of the preparatory program for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which begins next November.

On the other hand, the national team conducted a 90-minute training maneuver against the U-23 national team after the end of the friendly match against Honduras, as coach Herve Renard used the players that did not participate in the friendly match.

It is worth noting that the Honduras match is the third friendly match of the national team in the current stage, as there are two friendly matches for the national team at this stage against Iceland and Panama.
