Al-Diriyah Hosts Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup Draw

The draw ceremony of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup for the 2022/2023 sports season was held today, Tuesday evening, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports for Youth and Sports Affairs Abdulaziz Al-Massad, Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation Khaled Al-Thubaiti, Secretary-General of the SAFF Ibrahim Al-Kassim, a number of members of the Federation’s Board of Directors and representatives of Roshn Professional League clubs , representatives of the sponsoring companies of the SAFF and the media.
The open draw resulted in 8 matches in the round of 16 as follows: Al-Ittihad with Al-Shabab, Al-Fayha with Al-Khaleej, Al-Hilal with Ettifaq, Damac with Al-Wahda, Al-Nassr with Al-Adalah, Al-Fateh with Al-Ta’i, Abha with Al-Ta’awoun, and Al-Batin with Al-Raed, knowing that the matches will be played at the stadium of the clubs mentioned first.
The round of 16 matches will be held on December 20, 21 and 22, while the quarter-final matches will be held on March 13 and 14, 2023, and the semi-final matches will be held on April 23 and 24.
For his part, the President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehal, thanked the organizers of Al-Diriyah Season for hosting the events of the draw and the appearance of the draw ceremony in the best way that embodies the interest and appreciation for the tournament, which is dear to everyone, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, wishing more success for Al-Diriyah season. In its new version, which comes as an extension of the advance that the Kingdom is witnessing at all levels.
