
Saudi Olympics team faces Thailand in last friendly ahead of AFC U-23 Championship

The Saudi Arabia u-23 national team, will face Thailand, on Friday, within Thailand preparatory camp, in the fourth and last phase of preparations for the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship, Thailand, which will be held from the 8th until the 26the of January, and will determine the qualified teams to Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
The Saudi team will face Thailand, at 5:00 p.m., (Thailand time), 1:00 p.m. (KSA time), at Nonthaburi Stadium, Bangkok.
On the ground, the Saudi team trained, at evening, under the supervision of manager, Saad Al-Shehri, as the session was kicked off with tactical exercises, followed by set pieces exercises.
The training session witnessed the attendance of Dr. Khalid Al-Mekren, member of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, SAFF, and supervisor of national junior teams, and the SAFF's member, Bandr Al-Ahmadi, technical director of national junior teams.
On the other hand, the national teams' nutritionist, Abdul Aziz Al-Nefisa gave a lecture to players on the importance of nutrition, the optimal consumption of fluids and the need of the body for this, as the lecture was held to raise awareness and provide culture of health for the players during the tournament.
