
The NT U23 will face Qatar in the WAFF Championship final

The under-23 national team will play the final match of the Under-23 West Asian Football Federation Championship 2022 in Jeddah, tomorrow, Tuesday.
The national team will host Qatar national team, at 9 PM, at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
The under-23 national team players conducted their training session this evening at King Abdullah Sports City Hall, under the supervision of coach Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff, during which they applied tactical exercises, followed by work on set balls.
The coach of the under-23 national team, Saad Al-Shehri, confirmed during the press conference held this evening on the sidelines of the West Asian Football Federation Championship final, the players' desire to win the championship, noting that tomorrow's match is not easy, and that both teams are technically distinguished.
Al-Shehri explained that participation in the WAFF Championship comes as part of the long-term preparation programs for the Olympic Games (Paris 2024), through the U-23 AFC Asian Cup 2024 in Qatar, and many regional and continental participations in order to achieve the goal of preserving the Asian title and qualifying for the Olympics.
