Today, Saturday, the national team returned to its training in Basra, after its match against Yemen on Friday in the first round of Group A in the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup, which ended with winning 2-0.
Coach Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff divided the players into two groups, the first group, which included the players who mainly participated in yesterday's match, performed a recovery session in a stadium at the mission's residence, while the other group conducted a training session on the reserve stadium of Basra International Stadium, during which they practiced. Finishing off through shooting and crosses, followed by a mini-maneuver.
The national team will continue training tomorrow, Sunday, in preparation for Iraq national team match, on Monday, in the second round of Group A in the Arabian Gulf Cup.
