The women's NT opens the international championship with a victory over Mauritius

The women's national football team opened its campaign in the international friendly tournament by defeating Mauritius national team with a goal scored by Maryam Al-Tamimi via a penalty kick in the 44th minute of the match.

The match was held at Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium in Al-Rakah, where it witnessed the presence of the fans for the first time in the history of the women's national team matches.

The national team will complete its campaign in the tournament against Comoros national team on Sunday, January 15, and will conclude its tournament against Pakistan on Thursday, January 19.
