The second festival to discover talents will be launched in Jazan on Thursday

Tomorrow, Thursday, in Jazan, the second football festival to discover talents, which is being held by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation represented by the Technical Department, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education represented by the Saudi School Sports Federation, will start, as It aims to discover football talents in schools and provide them the opportunity to join sports clubs and regional training centers.

The festival comes within the efforts of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation to achieve the goals of the strategy to transform Saudi football, which relies on 7 pillars, the most prominent of which is the path of talent development, as the strategy among its goals is to organize more than 50 competitions for different age groups by 2025, which contributes to establishing a national team that will be among the Top 20 by 2034.

The participants will be received by schools in Jazan in cooperation with the General Administration of Education in Jazan Region, as they will undergo performance tests, according to which talents will be evaluated according to criteria set by the Technical Committee, as the passers will be enrolled through professional programs that have been developed in accordance with development path.

The technical Committee announced the launch of the program on February 16 from Unaizah in Qassim region, to be held in 15 other cities: Jazan, Najran, Hafar Al-Batin, Arar, Abha, Al-Baha, Hail, Taif, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, Dammam, Jeddah, Al-Ahsa, Medina, Riyadh.

It is noteworthy that the Technical Committee in the Saudi Arabian Football Federation set the ages of the participants for the players from 6 to 9 years, and the ages of the participants for the women players from 9 to 12 years.
