The Social Responsibility Committee concludes a group of training courses for clubs

The Social Responsibility Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation concluded a group of training courses for managers and supervisors of social responsibility departments in clubs in community initiatives and risk management, which were held via visual communication, in the presence of 43 participants from Roshn Saudi League, Yelo League, and the Second Division League Clubs.

These six-day courses aim to develop the skills of workers in the field of designing and implementing social initiatives to design initiatives according to best practices, that includes the stages of planning and setting priorities, in addition to anticipating the impact of these initiatives on the beneficiaries, the ability to manage any risks or obstacles that may arise during the implementation of social programs and activities and identifying mechanisms to deal with them.

The President of Social Responsibility Committee, member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Nazih Al-Nasr, confirmed that these training courses come within the committee’s interest in developing the skills of officials of social activities in clubs, and this matter is related to one of the main objectives of the committee represented in increasing the awareness and culture of club employees of the importance of this field, and support them to reach high professionalism in the quality of implementing initiatives and increase the depth of their impact and sustainability, as two courses were implemented during this sports season 2022-2023.

Al-Nasr added that the committee is continuing during the coming period to prepare for another group of workshops and training courses in areas related to social responsibility through a developmental path that the committee started with since its establishment, especially with what we see in the committee of the impact of those courses on improving the quality of implemented social initiatives, whether the initiatives that clubs take annually in the Social Responsibility Award, or those initiatives that clubs seek to implement throughout the sports season.
