The NT U-23 delegation arrives in France to compete in Toulon Tournament

Today, Saturday, the U-23 national team opened its training in preparation for Maurice Revello International Tournament (Toulon Tournament), which will be held from 2 to 18 June, in preparation for the qualifiers for the U-23 AFC Asian Cup 2024.

The U-23 national team players conducted their training session this evening, at Chaulnier stadium, under the supervision of coach Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff, during which they applied a physical exercise, followed by work on the tactical aspects.

Tomorrow, Sunday, the national team will continue its training in preparation for the opening match of the tournament, in which it will face France the day after tomorrow, Monday.

On the other hand, the coaching staff of the U-23 national team granted permission to player Awad Al-Nashiri not to join the camp, due to his mother's health conditions.

It is noteworthy that Toulon Tournament is a part of the preparation program for the Asian qualifiers, which will start in September, and qualify for the AFC Asian Cup in Qatar 2024, which qualifies for the Olympic Games (Paris 2024).
