
The NT U-23 loses to Venezuela on penalties in Toulon Tournament

The U-23 national team lost to Venezuela on penalties, 3-0, after a goalless draw in the original two halves, 0-0, this evening, Thursday, at the hall of Honor, in the second round of Maurice Revello International Tournament (Toulon Tournament).
Coach Saad Al-Shehri entered the match with a list consists of: Ahmed Al-Jubaie as a goalkeeper, Muhammad Abu Al-Shamat, Saad Al-Mousa, Mishaal Al-Subiani, Zakaria Hawsawi, Nayef Masoud, Musab Al-Juwair, Muhammad Al-Qahtani, Ayman Yahya, Khalil Al-Absi, Muhammad Maran.
On the other hand, the Organizing Committee of Toulon Tournament awarded the national team's player Nayef Massoud the Man of the Match award.
The U-23 national team will return to its training tomorrow, Friday, in preparation to face Costa Rica national team next Sunday in Toulon International Tournament.
It is worth noting that Toulon Tournament is part of the preparation program for the Asian qualifiers, which will start in September, and qualifies for the AFC Asian Cup 2024 in Qatar, which qualifies for the Olympic Games (Paris 2024).
