The Referees Committee holds a preparatory camp for the Referees in Serbia

The Referees Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation will hold a preparatory camp for referees in Novi Sad, Serbia, from July (27) to August 8, in preparation for the next sports season (2023-2024), with the participation of (24) referees and (32) assistant referees from Roshn Saudi League, and a number of the referees of Yelo League which are Candidates to partially participate in Roshn League.
The camp includes a program in two morning and evening periods, during which the referees will conduct physical exercises during the morning period, followed by theoretical lectures on amendments to the football law, and a review of the most prominent scenes of the last season, in addition to technical lectures in preparation for the new season presented by a number of international lecturers from the International Federation of Football Associations FIFA .
It is scheduled that the evening period will witness practical training for the referees on the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), in addition to physical exercises and practical arbitration cases.
The camp is witnessing the participation of a number of lecturers, including the lecturer in FIFA and AFC, Ali Al-Tarifi, the Italian Gianvito Biglioneca, the performance analyst of FIFA and UEFA, and the Uruguayan fitness coaches Juan Nicholas Morales and Daniel Varian, and the former Spanish referee Roberto Diaz.
