The first national futsal team continued its daily training at its current camp in Zeist, Netherlands, which will continue until September 3, before heading to Brazil on the 4th of the same month to participate in the international championship that will be held in Sorocaba from 12 to 17 September, in preparation for AFC Asian Futsal Cup qualifiers to be held in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.
Today, Wednesday, the national futsal team conducted its daily training at Kleidkamer Club hall, led by Spanish coach Andrew Plaza, who divided the training into two periods (morning and evening).
The morning training included various and intense fitness and physical exercises.
The evening training included applying tactical and technical phrases using the ball, before the training session was concluded with a maneuver throughout the hall that focused on building attacks from behind.
The trio of goalkeepers underwent intense special training accompanied by Spanish goalkeepers coach Frank Francisco.
It is noteworthy that the draw of Brazil International Futsal Championship put the national team in Group A alongside Brazil and Japan, while the draw of AFC Asian Futsal Cup qualifiers placed the national team in Group B alongside Indonesia, Afghanistan and Macau.
