The national team mission arrives in Newcastle to start the camp before Costa Rica and South Korea matches

The national team delegation arrived this evening, Sunday, in Newcastle, England, in preparation for the start of the second stage of the preparatory program for AFC Asian Cup 2023, which will be held in Qatar next January.

The national team will hold a preparatory camp in Newcastle from 3 to 12 September, during which it will play two friendly matches, the first against the Costa Rica national team on September 8, and the second friendly match against South Korea national team on September 12, and both friendly matches will be played at “St. James' Park", the stadium of Newcastle United.

The national team delegation left Riyadh on Sunday afternoon from King Khalid International Airport.

The delegation was bid farewell by the President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehal, and the Secretary-General Ibrahim Al Kassim.

On the other hand, tomorrow, Monday, the national team will launch its training at Sly Lee Hotel Stadium, in a closed training session.
