The national team concludes its preparations to face Costa Rica friendly in Newcastle

Today, Thursday, the national team concluded its preparations for the friendly match against Costa Rica tomorrow, Friday, at St. James' Park, as part of the second phase of the preparatory program for AFC Asian Cup 2023, which will start next January.

The training session witnessed the presence and follow-up of the President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehal, and the Secretary General, Ibrahim Al Kassim.

The national team players conducted their training under the supervision of coach Roberto Mancini, which began with warm-up exercises, then a possession exercise, before applying various tactical sentences in the offensive and defensive situation, to conclude the training session with stretching exercises.

On the other hand, player Riyad Sharahili did not participate in the training session because he felt pain in the knee after the injury he suffered during yesterday's training session.
