The national futsal team raises its preparations for Brazil International Championship

The first national futsal team continued its daily training at its external training camp in Sorocaba, Sao Paulo, Brazil, before participating in Brazil International Championship to be held from 12 to 17 September, in preparation for the AFC Asian Futsal Cup 2023 qualifiers.

Today, Thursday, the national futsal team players conducted their training under the leadership of Spanish coach Andrew Plaza, who divided the training into two periods.

In the first period, the players underwent fitness and physical training at the fitness hall at the mission’s residence, while in the second period, which was held at Sorocaba Hall. a number of technical and tactical sentences using the ball were applied, before concluding the training session with a maneuver throughout the hall.

The goalkeepers underwent intense special exercises, which were performed with the Spanish goalkeepers coach, Francisco.

It is noteworthy that the draw of Brazil International Futsal Championship put the national team in Group A alongside Brazil and Japan, while the draw of AFC Asian Futsal Cup qualifiers placed the national team in Group B alongside Indonesia, Afghanistan and Macau.
