The national team resumes its training after Costa Rica friendly match, as Mancini gives the players a period for rest

This Saturday morning, the national team resumed training at its camp in Newcastle, England, from 3 to 12 of September, as part of the second phase of the preparatory program for AFC Asian Cup 2023, which begins next January.

Coach Roberto Mancini divided the players into two groups, the first included the players who mainly participated in the last match against Costa Rica national team, as he allocated them recovery exercises at the gym, while the second group included the rest of the players, as their training session began with warm-up exercises, then squares exercise, after which a mini match between two groups was conducted on half of the field, then the training session was concluded with stretching exercises.

Player Riad Sharahili continued his treatment program accompanied by the medical staff.

On the other hand, the coach granted the players a period for rest after the end of the morning training session, as the gathering will take place this evening at the camp.

The national team continues its preparations tomorrow, Sunday, with a closed training session in front of the media for the first 15 minutes.
