
The national futsal team launches its training at Dammam camp in preparation for the Asian qualifiers

The first national futsal team launched its indoor camp, in the Eastern Province, in the last stage before participating in the Asian qualifiers that will be held at the Ministry of Sports Hall in Dammam from October 7th to 11th, which qualify for AFC Asian Futsal Cup to be held in Thailand in 2024.
Today, Wednesday, the national futsal team players conducted their first training at Prince Nayef Sports City Hall in Qatif, led by Spanish coach Andrew Plaza, who divided the training session into two periods, as fitness exercises were performed in the morning period, while fitness exercises were intensified and diversified, and technical and tactical sentences were implemented and applied in evening training, before the training session was concluded with a mini match on the half of the hall, in which all players participated, except for the player Moaz Al-Asiri, who was allowed by the technical and administrative staffs to leave the camp and check on his family, with the expectation that he would join his colleagues tomorrow.
It is noteworthy that the draw for the Asian qualifiers for AFC Asian Futsal Cup placed the national team in Group B alongside Indonesia, Afghanistan and Macau.
