
The national futsal team beats Macau 9-0 in AFC Asian Cup qualifiers

The first national futsal team defeated Macau national team 9-0, today, Monday, at the Green Hall in Dammam, in the second group of the Asian qualifiers for AFC Asian Futsal Cup to be held in Thailand in 2024.
The coach of the first national futsal team, Andrew Plaza, started the match with a squad consisted of Hamoud Al-Dahhan as a goalkeeper, Nawaf Al-Arwan, Fares Al-Qahtani, Abdullah Al-Aqili and Fahd Al-Juhani.
The national futsal team players entered the match with the desire to win and maintain their chances of qualifying, and they were able to score seven goals in the first half, which were scored by Fares Al-Qahtani (four goals), Abdullah Al-Aqili, Saleh Al-Qarni, and Fahd Al-Juhani.
In the second half, the national team players controlled the match, and they were able to score two goals, by Abdullah Al-Otaibi and Abdullah Al-Aqili.
Next Wednesday, the national futsal team will play its final match in the qualifiers, when it faces Indonesia national team, as it needs to win to qualify for AFC Asian Futsal Cup in Thailand.
