Al-Misehal attends the draw ceremony for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d'Ivoire

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) delegation, led by President M. Yasser Al Misehal and Secretary General Ibrahim Al Kassim, would like to thank the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and its President Dr. Patrice Motsepe for the kind invitation to attend the Official Draw of the Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations 2023, held in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire on October 12th 2023.

The SAFF President had the privilege to exchange and discuss football development matters with the African football family and dignitaries of the Host Country, including M. Patrick Achi, Prime Minister of Cote d'Ivoire and M. Claude Paulin Danho, Sports Minister of Cote d'Ivoire; together with his counterpart M. Idriss Diallo, President of the Cote d’Ivoire Football Federation.

M. Al Misehal is humbled by the hospitality and consideration of the CAF President, the CAF Vice Presidents and CAF administration met during this highly entertainment and prestigious event. He also thanks wholeheartedly CAF Member Associations for the tremendous support shown to Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the FIFA World Cup 2034, allowing SAFF to be supported by more than 100 Federations from around the World as of today.

SAFF would like finally to wish to the amazing people of Cote d’Ivoire, to CAF, to Participating Teams of the competition and to all football fans a wonderful celebration of African football in January 2024.
