The Saudi Arabian Football Federation decided to appoint former national team captain Osama Hawsawi as an assistant technical director of SAFF.
Osama Hawsawi holds a master’s degree in football business, a number of courses in sports and technical management, and a UEFA A training license from the French Football Federation, in addition to his work in the technical and administrative staff of the French club Châteauroux for two seasons, the last of which was the club’s sporting director. and was also among Founders of the Saudi Football Players Association and its president.
Hawsawi had a professional experience with the Belgian club Anderlecht and a number of local clubs, and represented the national team in 135 international matches, before concluding his international career as a captain of the national team in the World Cup 2018 finals.
Osama Hawsawi thanked the Saudi Arabian Football Federation for its confidence in appointing him as an assistant technical director, looking forward to helping his colleagues in providing technical work that contributes to the development of Saudi football.
