Competitions Committee and Technical Administration hold a workshop to discuss the numbers of players in youth Championships

The Competitions Committee and Technical Administration of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) held a workshop, on Wednesday to discuss the numbers of players in Junior teams championships for the coming seasons, in the presence of teams managers and representatives of junior teams.
During the workshop, a number of topics related to junior teams competitions were discussed, as the committee discussed means of developing junior national teams to serve the players and clubs, with recommendations being submitted to the Board of Directors of the SAFF based on what was stated in the workshop.
The Saudi Federation had previously announced the adoption of a project to develop the junior teams’ championships starting from the 2024/2025 season.
The project includes adding new age groups and changes in the number of promoted and relegated teams in the leagues.
The project aims to develop and maintain of junior team players and keep pace with their counterparts in the national teams.
