
The SAFF's Board of Directors approves the formation of Professionalism and Players' Status Committee

The Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) approved the appointment of Abdullah bin Sami Al-Drees, a member of the Professionalism and Players’ Status Committee, to be a deputy to the Chairman of the committee, and Talal bin Muhammad Al-Bazei as a member of the committee, after appointing Miteb Al-Ahmad as Chairman of the Committee.
This is based on article on the third paragraph of Article 35 of the SAFF’s statute, which stipulates that it is within the powers of the Board of Directors to appoint and/or dismiss the chairmen, vice-chairmen and members of the permanent committees, for a period of 4 years, subject to renewal, and to reconstitute them, according to the requirements of the interest, and evaluate its work periodically.
Al-Drees has scientific and practical experience, as he obtained a master’s degree in law from Michigan State University in 2013 and the information systems Bachelor's program from Administrative Sciences Department from King Saud University in 2009.
He worked as a consultant and general manager of the legal department in government agencies, in addition to preparing a number of regulations and reviewing regulations.
