Mancini announces Saudi Arabia list for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup preparatory camp

National team coach Roberto Mancini announced the Saudi list participating in the preparatory camp that will be held in the State of Qatar during the period from December 31 to January 11, as part of the fourth stage of the preparatory program in preparation for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup that will be held in Qatar next January.
During his camp, the Green will play three friendly matches, the first against the Lebanon on the fourth of January, the second friendly against the Palestine on the ninth of January, while the third match will be against Hong Kong on the tenth of January.
It is worth noting that the national team played six friendly matches in the past three stages of preparation, with two matches in each stage against the teams of Venezuela, Bolivia, Costa Rica, South Korea, Nigeria, and Mali.
The Saudi team also played two matches in the first round of the second round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup against Pakistan and Jordan.
Technical Director Mancini summoned (30) players to join the camp, their names as follows: Nawaf Al-Aqidi, Muhammad Al-Yami, Raghed Najjar, Ahmed Al-Kassar, Hassan Kadish, AounAl-Salouli, Ali Al-Bulaihi, Ali Lagami, Hassan Al-Tambakti, Saud Abdel Hamid, Fawaz Al-Saqour, Ayman. Yahya, Abdullah Al-Khaibari, Ali Hazazi, Mukhtar Ali, Abdul-Ilah Al-Maliki, Faisal Al-Ghamdi, Eid Al-Mawlid, Salem Al-Dosari, Abbas Al-Hassan, Nasser Al-Dosari, Muhammad Kanno, Sami Al-Naji, Fahd Al-Mawlid, Khaled Al-Ghannam, Abdul Rahman Gharib, Muhammad Maran, Firas Al-Braikan, Abdullah Radif, Saleh Al-Shehri.

The Green will depart tomorrow morning, Sunday, for the State of Qatar, after the the Saudi team players meet in the capital, Riyadh, and depart from King Khalid International Airport to Doha International Airport.
It is worth noting that the national team is in the sixth group of the 2023 Asian Cup, alongside the teams of Oman, Kyrgyzstan, and Thailand.
