The Talent development path in the transformation strategy witnesses a major shift in 2023

The talent development path represents one of the pillars of the Saudi football transformation strategy that was launched in September (2021. )The year (2023 )witnessed a number of programs and festivals aimed at discovering football talents at an early age, which helps in refining and developing them through professional programs supervised by national coacheswho hold accredited coaching certificates, to be an important tributary of the national teams.
The cities of Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam witnessed the establishment of the FIFA Program for Schools out of 8 stages to discover talents, in cooperation with the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), in which (355 ) male and female students, (321) males, (139) male and female teachers participated, with the aim of qualifying male and female teachers in all regions and to discover talents from (6 )to( 16 ) years old. , where (62 ) talents were discovered and officially registered in regional training centers.
Talent discovery stations were held in Diriyah and Al-Ahsa out of (10) cities, which witnessed the participation of (578) talented people and ( 27 ) trainers. The target ages ranged from (10)to (1)(4 ) years, and (58 ) talents were nominated for official registration in training centers.
The cities of Qassim, Jizan, Al-Ahsa, Arar, Hail, Tabuk and Hafr Al-Batin also witnessed talent discovery festivals out of the (12 ) cities in which the festivals will be held, in which (1,235) male and female players participated in the age group from( 6-9) for boys and (9-12 ) for girls, under supervision. (104 ) male and (50 ) female coaches, and witnessed (135) male and (37) female players undergoing the actual experience in the regional training centres.
