Assistant Secretary-General for Strategic Affairs at the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), Majid bin Ali Al-Sahib, received the Forbes Middle East Award, in cooperation with the National Center for Responsibility and Studies, to classify the SAFF among the 50 most important Saudi brands in social responsibility.
During the year 2023, the Social Responsibility Committee of the SAFF implemented more than 15 social programs, and also held a social responsibility awards ceremony for clubs, during which the clubs were honored for the efforts they make to contribute to the development of society.
The committee launched many social initiatives and contributions provided by the SAFF in cooperation with the clubs, as well as cooperation with relevant authorities to establish international community projects, which contributes to enhancing the administration’s goals at the level of community work.
It is noteworthy that the committee launched the periodic social responsibility award for the 2023-2024 sports season, which targets the clubs of the four divisions of the league clubs (Roshen, Yellow, Second and Third).
The award aims to create a permanent incentive to work in the areas of social responsibility initiatives, highlighting high-quality club initiatives at continuous periods during the year, and adding continuous support that can be used to cover the costs of some matches.
