Yesterday evening, Saturday, the Saudi Arabia national team continued its training in the camp currently held in the capital, Riyadh, in preparation for facing Tajikistan next Tuesday in the third round of the second round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup.
On the field, the Green players conducted their training session on the “Mahad Academy fields” under the supervision of the technical director, “Roberto Mancini.” It began with warm-up exercises and then the square drill, after which the players applied various tactical exercises before Mancini conducted a maneuver across the entire field, before the training session was concluded with stretching exercises.
On the other hand, Mancini decided to exclude the player, Nasser Al- Dawsari, from the Green camp, based on the medical report submitted by the team’s medical staff, and his need for a treatment and rehabilitation program, and in accordance with the established procedures, this was reported to his club to follow up on the player’s condition. .
The Saudi team will continue its preparatory program this Sunday evening with a training session on the “Mahad Academy fields” at 9.00 P.M, and it was decided that the training session will be closed to the media.
