The “Green” players conducted their training session this evening in the gym at the mission’s residence, under the supervision of technical director Saad Al-Shehri and the assistant technical staff, during which they were divided into two groups.
The first group, which included the players who mainly participated in yesterday’s match, performed a retrospective training session, while the other one underwent strengthening exercises.
The Green, will perform his training session at 4:00 pm tomorrow, Wednesday, at Qatar University Stadium 2, and the media will be allowed to cover the first quarter-hour of it.
On the other hand, the technical staff of the national under-23 team decided to exclude player Mohamed Maran, after medical examinations revealed that he had suffered a tear in ligaments in his right ankle joint.
It is worth noting that the Saudi under-23 team leads Group C, which includes alongside it the teams of Iraq, Thailand, and Tajikistan.
