Al-Nakhl Club crowned the Kingdom’s champion for fourth-tier clubs

Today, Thursday, Naeem Al-Bakr, member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) and Chairman of the Competitions Committee, crowned the Al-Nakhl team with the Kingdom’s Championship Cup for fourth-tier clubs for the 2023-2024 sports season.
Al-Nakhl won the title after defeating Al-Hedayah team with a score of 2-1 in the final match that took place between them this evening at Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Stadium in Medina.
Al-Nakhl qualified for the final match after winning the semi-final against Al-Fadl 1-0, while Al-Hedayahsurpassed its counterpart, Yarmouk, with a score of 4-1.
It is noteworthy that the four semi-finalist clubs (Al-Nakhl, Al-Fadl, Al-Hidaya and Yarmouk) have officially been promoted to the third division league for the next sports season 2024-2025.
The fourth division league tournament was launched with the participation of 64 teams, which were divided into 15 groups in various regions of the Kingdom, with 32 teams qualifying to host knockout matches, starting from the round of 32 until the final.
