Today, Saturday, the Saudi Arabia national team continued its training in the camp currently held in the capital, Riyadh, in preparation for facing the Jordanian national team next Tuesday at Al Awal Park Stadium, as part of the final round of the second round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup.
On the field, the Green players conducted their training session on the “Mahd Academy fields” under the supervision of the technical director, Roberto Mancini.
It began with warm-up exercises and then the square drill, after which the players applied various tactical exercises before Mancini conducted a maneuver across the entire field, and the training session concluded with stretching exercises.
On a related note, the player Mukhtar Ali did not participate in group training because he suffered from an intestinal flu, while Hassan Al-Tambakti continued his treatment program accompanied by the medical team.
The national team will continue its preparatory program tomorrow evening, Sunday, with a closed evening training session on the “Mahd Academy stadiums” at 7:00 p.m.
