Abha City to Host Group D of AFC U-20 Asian Cup 2025 Qualifiers

Abha City will host Group D, of the qualifiers for the under-20 Asian Cup, from September 21-29, with the participation of the national teams of Australia, Palestine, Afghanistan, Macau, and the host national team.

The Saudi under-20 national team will start its qualifiers against its Palestinian counterpart on September 21 at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium, which will host the qualifiers, while it will face Afghanistan on the 25th of the same month, and will meet Macau on the 27th before concluding its matches on September 29 against Australia.

For his part, President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) Yasser bin Hassan Al-Misehal welcomed the teams participating in the Group D qualifiers, wishing them a pleasant stay in the Kingdom, and expressing his sincere wishes for success for our national team.

Al-Mashaal said that the Kingdom's hosting of the matches of Group D of the qualifiers for the AFC U-20 Cup comes as a reinforcement of the Kingdom's successes in hosting Asian sporting events as a result of constructive cooperation with the Asian Football Confederation in a way that serves football on the continent.
