The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), represented by the Social Responsibility Department, will hold the annual Social Responsibility Awards Ceremony for Clubs for the 2023-2024 sports season next Sunday, which will be held in Riyadh, with the participation of 32 clubs representing the Roshn Professional League, the Yelo First Division League (FDL), and the Second Division League.
The ceremony, which is scheduled to be held at the King Abdulaziz Center for Cultural Communication, will be preceded by a dialogue session entitled Clubs and Society, with the participation of experienced and specialized speakers in tracks related to the field of social responsibility, followed by the announcement of the clubs that won the Social Responsibility Awards for the third quarter of this year.
During the ceremony, the clubs that won the first five places in the Social Responsibility Award will be announced, in addition to the names of the players who won the Social Responsibility Stars Award that was approved last year, who are players who contributed to community initiatives through sports, in addition to signing a number of cooperation agreements with a group of institutions and associations, within the framework of activating partnerships to support community programs in support of unifying efforts and achieving common goals.
For his part, member of the Board of Directors of the SAFF and Chairman of the Social Responsibility Committee, Nazih Al-Nasr, explained that the award comes to support motivating clubs to continue making social responsibility a major element within their strategies and plans, which indicates the interest of clubs at various levels in contributing to various social programs and initiatives.
Al-Nasr indicated that the Social Responsibility Awards come in this version within two tracks, one of which is concerned with clubs in the Social Responsibility Award for Clubs, while the other track comes for the first time specifically for the stars of players who contributed or participated in initiatives to serve the community through the Social Responsibility Stars Award, with a total of prizes allocated by the committee during the season amounting to two million, seven hundred and seventy-five thousand riyals.
