The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), represented by the Department of Buds, Academies and Regional Training Centers, in partnership with Saudi Aramco and under the supervision of the International Federation FIFA, organized the FIFA Schools Program in the city of Khobar in the Eastern Province over a period of 3 days.
The program witnessed the holding of a workshop for participating teachers to explain many life skills and practical training in the field.
During the program for male and female students nominated from schools, which numbered about 300 students, various sports competitions were held to create an atmosphere of competition and challenge, after which prizes were distributed to all participants.
It is worth noting that the International Federation FIFA aims, through these programs that were launched in 2019, to make the practice of football available to the largest possible number of male and female students by integrating it with education, in addition to enabling male and female teachers to acquire new life skills and raise their professional efficiency.
For his part, the technical director of the Saudi Federation, Nasser Larguet, expressed his thanks and appreciation to FIFA for these distinguished sporting events, and to Saudi Aramco for its participation and implementation of this program, which confirms the keenness of this giant company and its sense of social responsibility towards developing the sports system.
He also thanked the Education Department in the Eastern Province for their cooperation in supporting the program, hoping that the rest of the private sectors in the Kingdom will participate in such wonderful works.
