
The NT U-17 continues training in Jeddah camp

Saudi Arabia will host the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup from 3-20 April, with the participation of 16 teams: Indonesia, North Korea, China, Australia, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Oman, South Korea, Japan, Iran, Yemen, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, the UAE, Thailand, in addition to the host national team.
The tournament matches are scheduled to be held in Jeddah and Taif at the reserve stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium, King Fahd Sports City Stadium and Okaz Club Stadium in Taif.
The tournament draw will be held tomorrow, Thursday, at 10:00 am Saudi time, at the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, in the presence of officials from the Asian Football Confederation and the participating teams.
The 16 participating teams will be divided into 4 groups, according to the updated rankings in all AFC competitions, and the top eight teams will qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025.
The first group includes Saudi Arabia, Japan, South Korea and Iran, while the second group includes Australia, Yemen, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, the third group includes Thailand, Vietnam, Oman and Afghanistan, and the fourth group includes China, Indonesia, North Korea and the UAE.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SAFF, Yasser bin Hassan Al-Misehal, welcomed the participating teams, stressing the Kingdom's commitment to providing an exceptional experience that meets the aspirations of the participating teams and fans.

We are confident that this tournament will be an opportunity for players and fans to enjoy a wonderful sporting atmosphere in the Kingdom, as part of its continuous efforts to enhance its position as a global sports destination and confirm the ability of its youth to organize continental and international tournaments.", Al-Misehal said.
