The Saudi Arabia beach soccer national team today launched its training camp in
Pattaya, Thailand.
This training represents the final stage of the technical program in preparation for
the 2025 AFC Beach Soccer Cup, scheduled to be held in Pattaya from March 20 to
30.
The Green Beach Soccer players conducted their training today on the secondary
clay field at Jomtien Marina Beach, under the supervision of Brazilian coach Koga
Zolokovic, who focused on raising the players' fitness levels.
The coach divided the players into three groups to perform technical and tactical
drills using the ball, before the training was concluded with a full-field drill.
The beach soccer team arrived in Pattaya yesterday following the completion of the
second stage of the technical program, which included two camps: the first internal
in Riyadh and the second external in the United Arab Emirates, during which they
played friendly matches.
It's worth noting that the national beach soccer team's technical staff, led by
Brazilian coach Koga Zolokovic, has selected 14 players to compete in the final
round as their names are: Mohammed Al-Ajmi, Ali Al-Saffar, Hassan Jamal,
Khaled Wahib, Rabie Sufiani, Islam Siraj, Ramzi Dakman, Omar Qaramish, Ahmed
Al-Hamami, Qassim Dibaji, Mubarak Al-Dosari, Walid Al-Youbi, Majed
Shamhani, and Salman Al-Rashidi.
It's worth noting that the draw for the 2025 AFC Beach Soccer Cup placed the
"Green Beach Soccer Team" in Group B alongside Japan, China, and Iraq.
The national team is also ranked 23rd in the world, according to the latest
international rankings.
