The Saudi Arabia national team launched its training camp in Riyadh this evening, Sunday, in preparation for the seventh and eighth rounds of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The Green Falcons will host China on 20 March at First Park Stadium, while they will face Japan on 25 March at Saitama 2002 Stadium.
On the field, the national team players conducted their first training session this evening at Al-Shabab Club Stadium, under the supervision of head coach Hervé Renard and in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), Yasser Al-Misehal, and the Secretary-General, Ibrahim Al-Qassim.
Herve Renard divided the Green Falcons' players into two groups. The first included the players who participated in the starting lineups with their clubs yesterday, who limited themselves to recovery exercises. The second group included the remaining players, as the session began with warm-up exercises, followed by possession drills, before playing mini-matches, before the training session concluded with stretching exercises.
The national team will continue the preparation program tomorrow evening, Monday, with a closed evening training session at the Al-Shabab Club Stadium at 9:30 PM.
