
The NT arrives in Saitama to prepare for facing Japan in the World Cup qualifiers

The Saudi öArabia national team arrived in Saitama, Japan, on Friday evening to prepare for the match against Japan next Tuesday at Saitama Stadium 2002, in the seventh round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The team was received upon arrival at Narita International Airport by Anas Al-Nuwaiser, Deputy Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Japan; Ahmed Al-Fadel, Head of the Consular Affairs Department; Adel Al-Kanhal, Head of the Protocol and Relations Department; and a number of members of the Saudi Embassy in Japan.
For his part, Ibrahim Al-Qassim, Secretary-General of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Japan for the warm welcome and facilities the team has received since its arrival.
The national team departed Riyadh on Friday morning from King Khalid International Airport.
Meanwhile, the national team will hold a closed training session tomorrow evening, Saturday, at 7:00 PM, at the "Saitama 2002 Stadium's reserve field."
