The Saudi Arabia national team began training today, Saturday, in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, in preparation for their match against Japan next Tuesday evening at Saitama 2002 Stadium, in the eighth round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
On the field, coach Hervé Renard divided the Green Falcons' players into two groups. The first group included the players who participated in the previous match against China, who were assigned recovery exercises at the health club. The second group included the remaining players. Their training session, which was held at the Saitama 2002 Stadium reserve field, began with warm-up exercises followed by mini-matches. The players then performed various tactical exercises, concluding the training session with stretching exercises.
Meanwhile, the national team will hold a closed training session tomorrow, Sunday, at 7:00 PM, at the Saitama 2002 Stadium's reserve field.
