The draw for the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup qualifiers was held today, Thursday, at the AFC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The national women's team will participate in the tournament for the first time since its inception.
The draw resulted in our national team's group, where they will face the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Cambodia in June 2025.
The tournament's format also includes the qualification of the eight group winners to the finals, as well as the qualification of the defending champion, China, the runner-up, South Korea, the third-place team, Japan, and the host, Australia.
These qualifiers are an important opportunity for the women's national team to establish its standing on the Asian and international stage.
