The Saudi Arabia U-17 national team resumed training on Friday after defeating China 2-1 on Thursday in the AFC U17 Asian Cup 2025, a qualifier for the 2025 FIFA U17 World Cup in Qatar.
The Saudi players conducted their training session this evening under the supervision of Brazilian coach Mario Jorge and his assistant technical staff. They were divided into two groups. The first group, which included the players who participated in yesterday's match, performed a recovery training session in the gym at the delegation's residence, while the other group conducted their training session on the reserve field at King Fahd Sports City, where they conducted tactical exercises followed by a mini-manoeuvre.
The Saudi U-17 national team will conclude its training session tomorrow evening, Saturday, in preparation for their match against Thailand on Sunday evening in the second round of the Asian Cup.
It's worth noting that the Saudi under-17 team plays in Group A of the AFC U17 Asian Cup 2025, which also includes Uzbekistan, Thailand, and China.
