The Saudi Arabia under-17 national team resumed training on Monday after defeating Thailand 3-1 on Sunday in the 2025 AFC U17 Asian Cup, a qualifier for the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025.
The Saudi team players conducted their training session this evening under the supervision of Brazilian coach Mario Jorge and his assistant technical staff. They were divided into two groups. The first group, which included the players who participated in yesterday's match, performed a recovery training session in the gym at the team's residence, while the second group conducted their training session on the reserve field at King Fahd Sports City, where they conducted fitness and tactical exercises, followed by a mini-manoeuvre.
The Young Saudi team will conclude its training tomorrow evening, Tuesday, in preparation for its match against Uzbekistan on Wednesday evening in the third round of the AFC Asian Cup.
It's worth noting that the national under-17 team plays in Group A of the 2025 AFC U17 Asian Cup, alongside Uzbekistan, Thailand, and China.
