The Saudi women's national football team concluded its training camp in Dammam, which took place from April 2 to 9, as part of its intensive preparations for the AFC Women's Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers.
The camp included two friendly matches, as the Saudi national team achieved a well-deserved 2-0 victory over Sri Lanka in the first match, held on April 6. The second match, against Hong Kong, ended in a 2-1 loss for the Green Falcons on April 8 at Prince Saud bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium.
For her part, Alia bint Abdulaziz Al-Rashid, Director of the Women's Football Department at the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), confirmed that the current efforts are part of a strategy to enhance the team's performance and achieve positive results in local and international tournaments. She noted that the technical staff is working to provide an ideal training environment to enhance the players' performance.
