The Saudi Arabia national team continued their training on Sunday evening in preparation for their match against Bahrain next Thursday in the ninth round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The training session was held at Al-Ettifaq Club Stadium under the supervision of coach Hervé Renard.
The session began with warm-up exercises, followed by possession drills, various tactical exercises, and concluded with stretching exercises.
Meanwhile, the trio of Mohannad Al-Shanqeeti, Abdulrahman Al-Aboud, and Jihad Zekri did not participate in the training session, as each of them sustained injuries during their recent participation with their clubs in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup final.
Mohannad Al-Saad also did not participate in the training session after sustaining an injury in the previous friendly match. Meanwhile, Mohammed Bakr continued his rehabilitation program with the physical trainer, while Mutab Al-Harbi began his rehabilitation program with the medical staff on the field.
Finally, Abdulelah Al-Amri was content with recovery exercises with the technical staff.
The national team will continue its preparations tomorrow evening, Monday, with a closed training session at Al-Ettifaq Club Stadium at 7:00 PM.
