
NT U-23 loses to France in the opening match of the Toulon Tournament

The Saudi Arabia U-23 national team lost to France 2-1 in a match held this evening, Tuesday, at the opening of the Maurice Revello International Tournament (Toulon) in France.
The Saudi sole goal was scored by Abdullah Radif in the 22nd minute, while the French team equalized via a penalty kick in the 64th minute, before adding a second goal in the 67th minute.
Italian coach Luigi Di Biagio entered the match with the following lineup: Turki Baljoush in goal; Mohammed Abdulrahman, Mohammed Al-Dosari, Khaled Al-Asiri, Hussein Al-Zarei, Ahmed Al-Julaidan, Abdulmalik Al-Ayeri, Abbas Al-Hassan, Abdulmalik Al-Jaber, Abdulaziz Al-Othman, and Abdullah Radif.
The Saudi U-23 national team will resume training tomorrow, Wednesday, in preparation for its match against Panama on Friday in the second round of the Toulon Tournament.
It is worth noting that Group A of the Toulon Tournament includes the Saudi national team, along with host France, Mali, and Panama.
