
The Women's NT Concludes Training Camp in Taif for the 2026 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers

The Saudi Arabia Women's National Team concluded its training camp, which was held in Taif from May 26 to June 3, 2025, as part of its preparations for the 2026 AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup Qualifiers.
The camp saw the call-up of a number of players to enhance their physical and technical readiness, promote harmony and team spirit, and create an environment conducive to developing performance and honing skills before entering official competitions.
During the camp, the Saudi Women's National Team played two friendly matches against Bhutan. The first match, which was played on May 29, ended in a 3-0 loss for the national team, while the second match, held on June 3, ended in a 5-0 defeat.
Alia bint Abdulaziz Al Rashid, Director of the Women's Football Department at the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, praised the players' efforts and dedication during the camp, noting that the loss is an incentive to improve performance and continue working hard.
"We are at the beginning of this team's journey, and we are confident that the future will be better with the advancement of the players and their increased experience. I wish the players success in the next step.", She added.
