SMC Group, the exclusive commercial partner of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), signed an agreement with SUM KM Sport to host the 2025 Saudi Super Cup in Hong Kong. The event is scheduled to take place from August 19 to 23, with the participation of Al-Ittihad, Al-Qadisiyah, Al-Hilal, and Al-Nassr.

The Saudi Super Cup being held in Hong Kong is a continuation of the tournament's strategy to host several editions outside the Kingdom, with the aim of building strategic international partnerships that promote Saudi football. The agreement is part of SMC Group's efforts to support the tournament's vision and the SAFF's efforts to connect international entities with the Saudi sports market, which is witnessing rapid growth and remarkable development. This serves the sports sector as one of the most important goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The tournament matches will be hosted at the 40,000-seat Hong Kong Stadium, the official home of the Hong Kong national team, which was built in 1953 before being renovated in 1994.

For his part, Ibrahim Al-Qassim, Secretary General of the SAFF, said that holding the 2025 Saudi Super Cup in Hong Kong represents a qualitative shift for the tournament, which has achieved remarkable success in its previous editions, making it one of the most prominent local competitions around the world and attracting interest for hosting.

Al-Qassim added that this step is an extension of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's efforts to strengthen successful partnerships with national entities in the Kingdom and create opportunities for fruitful cooperation with international partners, enhancing the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's financial sustainability and achieving its development goals.

For his part, SMC Group Chairman Mohammed Al-Khereiji emphasized that this agreement is an extension of SMC Group's approach to building strategic partnerships for its clients, contributing to raising the level of Saudi sporting events and opening up horizons that support the Kingdom's drive to expand and achieve leadership in the international sports arena.

Al-Khereiji thanked SUM KM Sport for making this collaboration a success and expressed his aspiration to present an exceptional edition of the Saudi Super Cup, reflecting the development of the Saudi sports scene and paving the way for more qualitative initiatives in this vital sector.
