The draw for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026 qualifiers was held today, Thursday, at the AFC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The draw placed the Saudi national futsal team in Group D, alongside Iraq, Pakistan, and Chinese Taipei, in the qualifiers, which will be held from September 20 to 24, 2025, and will qualify for the continental finals in Indonesia in 2026.
It is worth noting that the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) will officially host the matches in Group D of the qualifiers, as part of the AFC-approved hosting arrangements.
It is also worth noting that the qualifying system stipulates that the eight group winners, the seven best second-placed teams, and the host Indonesia will qualify directly for the finals.
