The Saudi national futsal national team defeated Zambia 5-4 in the second round of Group B of the 2025 International Futsal Cup on Wednesday at the Nonthaburi Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The match was part of the second round of Group B of the 2025 International Futsal Intercontinental Friendly Cup.

The goals of the Saudi Futsal Team were scored by: Saleh Al-Qarni (hat-trick), Fahad Al-Jahni, and Mohsen Faqihi.

During the match, Spanish coach Andreu Plaza relied on high pressure and group substitutions between periods. He also used the "power play" technique to increase attacking intensity in crucial minutes.

With this victory, the Saudi Futsal Team officially qualified for the semifinals of the tournament, temporarily topping their group with 6 points.

Tomorrow, Thursday, the national team will play its third match in the group stage, when it faces Belarus, in a match that will determine the winner of Group B.
